Blissful Land

In a charming mountain hamlet nestled in Tibet during the 18th century, Kang Shiva, a 13-year-old boy, is preparing himself to take over his father’s mantle as the community’s physician. Kang is forgetful and obsessed with herbs; love and marriage have never crossed his mind, even though he is of the right age to consider settling down.
When Mosh Rati, a girl from a distant land, comes to Kang’s family home to meet her future husband, she stays with his family. Kang is captivated by Mosh’s beauty, and he envisions how fortunate the man who marries her will be. Much to his delight, he learns that Mosh is his betrothed. A romance is inevitable between the medicine apprentice and the foreign lady.
