Ichigo Amano’s love for cakes drives her ambitions to share her passion with others in the future. While attending a sweets festival, she discovers a dessert that reminds her of a bakery she visited before. This creation draws the attention of Henri Lucas, the talented pâtissier responsible for its exquisite flavor. Impressed by Ichigo’s refined taste buds, Henri convinces her to enroll at St. Marie Academy, an institution that trains students to excel in all aspects of pastry-making.
As a new student, Ichigo seeks the blessings of the “Queen of Sweets Spirits” statue, hoping for a successful journey ahead. She finds herself joining a students’ group called the “Sweets Princes,” composed of boys who have mastered various disciplines in the field of confectionary arts. Struggling to keep up with the rigorous coursework, Ichigo faces criticism from her classmates due to her inexperience. Despite the initial setbacks, she resolves to dedicate herself to perfecting her craft.
Ichigo’s perseverance catches the attention of Vanilla, a Sweets Spirit aspiring to become a “Royal Pâtissière” in the Sweets Kingdom. To achieve her goal, Vanilla must first help a human being in their pursuit of passion. She chooses to aid Ichigo and uses her magical abilities to refine and elevate Ichigo’s pastry-making techniques gradually. Together, they aspire to be the leading pâtissières in the industry.
“Beautiful Dreamer,” included in volume one, is a one-shot story.
